Automated Plasma Cutting Power Sources

Plasma power sources used in 2D or 3D guidance systems such as cutting portals, pipe cutting machines or robots enable precise, laser-like and fast plasma cuts. Typical areas of application are metal construction and contract cutting, plant and container construction or the automotive industry.

Smart Focus Series

The Smart Focus plasma cutting system varies from 170 to 400 Amps achieves excellent cutting results in the material thickness range from 1 to 100 mm with just a few settings. Even under demanding conditions, the highest cutting quality and cutting speeds are achieved. Our proven cutting technologies such as Contour Cut for cutting mild steel are used for this. With the optimized gas consoles and burners, the wearing parts are also protected, gas consumption is reduced and the costs for cutting meters are thus significantly reduced.

Some Features of our Smart Focus Series:

  • Models: Smart Focus 130 – 170 – 200 – 300 – 400
  • Cutting up to 50mm Piercing and 100mm Start Edge
  • Plasma Gas: O2, Ar/H2, N2, Air
  • Gas Supply: Manuel PGE-300, automated PGV-300
  • Torch: PerCut 2000 and PerCut 4000
  • Long lifetime of our consumables

K200 Series

The K200 plasma cutting system focus on the essentials of plasma cutting: optimal and reliable cutting quality with easy operation at lowest cost.
The K 200 can be fully integrated into CNC guiding systems or controlled and monitored via an app. The power source has an integrated automatic gas control and a torch with direct connection. A hand torch extends the application range to manual cutting. Overall, the user benefits from low investment costs and easy installation, operation and maintenance of the system.

Some Features of our K200 Series:

  • Cutting Current 60 - 200 Amp
  • Integrated Gas Control
  • Plasma Gas: Air, O2, N2
  • Marking on 35 Amp
  • Can be controlled and monitored via K-desk app
  • Additional Hand Torch can be added
  • We offer this model on our CNC machines

HiFocus Series

The plasma cutting systems of the HiFocus neo series meet the highest demands in the cutting range between 0.5 and 160 mm. Due to the constriction of the plasma arc by means of a heavily rotating swirl gas, it is possible to achieve excellent cuts with nearly dross-free* and rectangular cut surfaces. Users benefit from diverse possible applications as well as low process costs due to high cutting and marking speeds: The plasma cutting units can be used in connection with all common CNC guiding systems, pipe cutting machines or robots, also for bevel cutting or underwater plasma cutting

Some Features of our HiFocus neo Series:

  • Models: HiFocus 161i – 280i – 360i – 440i – 600i neo
  • Plasma Cutting from 0.5 to 160mm
  • Plasma Gas: O2, Ar/H2, N2, Air
  • Gas Supply Automated gas control PGV 3-440
  • Beveling up to 50o
  • Long lifetime of our consumables

Q Series

The plasma cutting system Q is the most powerful system. It combines precise plasma cutting and marking at the best level with a maximum cutting current of 450 A. It enables the user to make precise plasma cuts of up to 120 mm. High cutting speeds reduce costs and increase efficiency. This generation of plasma cutting systems is the result of intensive Kjellberg research and development over the 100-year history of Kjellberg. With the new, digitized plasma system series Q, future-oriented standards in quality and connectivity are set.

Some Features of our Q Series:

  • Models: Q1500 – Q3000 – Q4500
  • Plasma Cutting from 0.5 to 120mm
  • Smooth and regular bevel cuts
  • Exact Inner and Outer contours
  • Gas Supply Automated gas control PGV 3-440
  • Precise Holes (Diameter: Thickness) 0.75:1
  • Long lifetime of our consumables
